About MSD Services

The MSD is a special district providing municipal services to five metro townships, a town and unincorporated Salt Lake County. The member communities consist of:

• Town of Brighton
• Copperton Metro Township
• Emigration Canyon Metro Township
• Kearns Metro Township
• Magna Metro Township
• White City Metro Township
• Unincorporated Salt Lake County

Staffing & Administrative Support

The MSD provides the following Staffing and Administrative Support for the Member Communities:[1]

  • Indigent Legal Defense (contracted with Salt Lake Legal Defender Association)
