One-year Anniversary of Magna Quake

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the 5.7 Magna earthquake. This anniversary is a good reminder that earthquakes can happen anytime, anywhere and they are unpredictable. The best time to prepare for an earthquake is before it happens.

A special event will be held tonight at 7:30 p.m. The Magna Quake Anniversary Town Hall will feature a panel of experts from Salt Lake Emergency Management, Division of Emergency Management, Department of Natural Resources, U of U Seismograph Stations and Department of Human Services.
